This package offers tests for complete care of pregnant females and future healthy child. These
tests are done prior to delivery (Antenatal) to check your health and help with early diagnosis of diseases that later can complicate pregnancy.
GENERAL HEALTH: In this test, we check complete blood for anemia. Normal hemoglobin is a
must for a healthy pregnancy. Blood group and Rh factor are tested for future requirements of
blood during delivery and in cases of Rh-negative mothers doctors take special care as
pregnancy can be complicated (Rh incompatibility).
URINE: It is checked for several things, including protein or albumin, their presence in your
urine, indicates infections or a sign of pregnancy-induced hypertension. The urine is also tested
to see if it has sugar in it, which indicates gestational diabetes.
BLOOD SUGAR: It is a routine test during pregnancy in which we check blood glucose (sugar)
levels in pregnant females to rule out Gestational diabetes which is high blood sugar (diabetes)
that is found during pregnancy. This condition affects the growth of the baby and requires
treatment during pregnancy.
INFECTION: This is a screening test done in all pregnant females to detect four diseases HIV,
Hepatitis B, C, and syphilis. These if present can lead to complications in pregnancy and can
